FROM the elder:

To the elect lady and her children, whom I love under the Truth [the Self-existent - the Son of man] — not only I, but also all who have acknowledged the Truth [the Self-existent - the Holy Spirit] — 

for the sake of the Truth [the Self-existent - the Holy Spirit] who is with us and will be with us forever.

Grace, mercy and peace remain with you all from the Self-existent and Jesus the Anointed, Son of the Father, in truth and love.

I was very glad to find some of your children living their lives under the Truth [the Self-existent - the Son of man], in keeping with the command we received from the Father. 

So, now, I urge you, lady — not as if I were writing you a new command, but the one we have had from the beginning — that we love one another. 

This is love: That we conduct ourselves according to His commands. This, then, is the command as you have heard it from the beginning: You must do everything in love.

Many deceivers have gone out into the world; they do not confess the coming of Jesus the Anointed as human being. As we know, these are deceivers and opposers of the Anointed.

Watch yourselves so that we don’t lose the reward for our work, but that we receive a full reward. 

Anyone who does not remain in the teaching of the Anointed [the Self-existent - the Son of man], but violates it, does not have God [the Self-existent]. The one who remains in the teaching of the Anointed [the Self-existent - the Son of man] has both the Father and the Son. 

If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your home and don’t send him off with God’s mercy; 

whoever sends him forth with God’s mercy shares of his evil works.

Though I have many things to write to you, I don’t want to do so with paper and ink. Instead, I hope to be with you and talk face to face so that our joy may be full.

The children of your elect sister sends you greetings. So be it.
