Colossians 1
WET VERSION
CHAPTER 1
FROM Paul, that it pleased God [the Self-existent] to make an ambassador of Jesus the Anointed, and Timothy our brother:
To the saints – faithful brethren under Jesus the Anointed – at Colossae. Grace and peace
be multiplied
to you from God, our Father and the Self-existent [the Son of man], Jesus the Anointed.
We always thank God the Father [the Self-existent] of our Sovereign Master, Jesus the Anointed, in our prayers for you,
having heard of your faith in Jesus the Anointed, and of the love you have for all the saints
because of the hope that you have in the things reserved for you in heaven, which you heard about in the message of the Truth [the Self-existent - the Son of man],
that was preached to you, bearing fruits
all
over the world, just as it does in you, since the day you heard it and recognized God’s [the Self-existent’s] grace inside the Truth [the Self-existent - the Son of man].
You learned this from Epaphras, our dearly loved fellow servant. He is a trustworthy servant of Jesus the Anointed, appointed for you.
He also told us about your love for the
Holy
Spirit, the Emissary of the Self-existent.
For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we do not cease to pray for you, that you may know about all the wisdom and spiritual understanding that the Self-existent [the Son of man], wants you to have,
so that you may lead a life well pleasing to Him, increasing in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God [the Self-existent];
being strengthened with all power by His glorious Power - the Self-existent, the Holy Spirit - that you may be patient and joyfully endure all things;
giving thanks to God the Father [the Self-existent] – the One who qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints, the people under the Light [the Self-existent - the Son of man] –
who rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,
under whom we have redemption — the forgiveness of sins through His blood —
who is the image of the invisible God [the Self-existent], His firstborn, the Chief of all creatures;
because everything in the sky and on earth — visible and invisible; whether thrones, dominions, rulers or authorities — were created by Him and for Him.
(He has been before all things, holds all things together,
and is the Head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the first to resurrect from the dead.) that in all things, He might be the first.
It pleased the Father to have His full attributes dwell in Him,
and, that, after bringing about harmony through the blood of His cross, to reconcile all things to Himself by Him, things on the ground or things in the sky.
You, also, who were alienated
from God [the Self-existent]
and hostile in your mind because of your evil deeds, He [the Self-existent - the Son of man] has now brought into harmony
by submitting His physical body to death, in order to bring you to Himself holy, faultless and blameless,
if you remain grounded and steadfast in the faith and are not shifted away from the hope that the good news you heard
gave you
.
This is the good news
that we preached to everyone under heaven, of which, I, Paul, was made a minister —
I, who now rejoice as I suffer for you, bearing with my flesh, the remainder of the suffering of Jesus the Anointed for His body, the church.
I was made a minister, as God’s [the Father’s] appointed administrator, over you, to fully make known the word of God [the Self-existent] —
the hidden truth, hid from ages and generations, but now made manifest to His saints, amidst foreign nationals, that it pleases God [the Self-existent] to make the richness of this glorious hidden truth known to. What is the hidden truth? The hope of being honored given to you because the Anointed [the Self-existent - the Holy Spirit] is with you.
This is what we preach, warning every man, and using all wisdom to teach every man, so that we may assist every man under Jesus the Anointed to become mature.
It is towards this that I labor, striving with His energy [unction] — the breath of the Holy Spirit — that is working powerfully in me.
