Psalms 1
WET VERSION
CHAPTER 1
1
HAPPY is the man who does not follow the advice of evildoers, live the way sinners live or join a group of mockers –
2
whose delight is in the Self-existent’s instruction, meditating on it day and night.
3
He is like a tree planted beside streams of water that bears its fruits in its season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
4
Evildoers are not like this; they are like chaff that wind blows away.
5
Therefore, evildoers will not survive the judgment and sinners will not be entertained in the community of the upright.
6
The Self-existent guides the upright, but the wicked will end up in ruin.
